Mater Private Hospital Redland
Mater Private Hospital Redland (MPHR) was commissioned in September 2000 as a joint collocation project between Queensland Health and the Sisters of Mercy to provide the highest quality health care services for the people of the Bayside community.
The 60-bed facility features the area’s only private women’s health unit and is supported with onsite specialists and nursing staff dedicated to providing exceptional care.
In 2007, MPHR cared for more than 6500 people and delivered more than 350 babies as it continued its exceptional service to the community.
In fact, in November 2007, MPHR was the highest rated hospital in Australia for patient satisfaction. The hospital has also been recognised for its commitment to a sustainable future through attainment of ecoBiz partnership status.
